Alan Richard Engel was born on October 25, 1952 in Alexandria, Virginia. He married Pamela Elise Furness on August 21, 1976. Pam was born on December 1, 1953, and she died on March 16, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. Alan & Pam lived in Baltimore, and then moved to Linthicum. Alan still lives in Linthicum, and he and Pam have three children.
